IOS IPAD world and Windows 7 PC world Finally Connect !

The Windows 7 64bit app works excellent! ... with my IPAD 3 with the latest ios 8. ** TURN YOUR WINDOWS FIREWALL OFF ** While using this app. Theres no FAQ on this but that was my answer after a few hours of restarting my pc and trying different things. Im using it with WIFI on a home office network. My World of Photo and Large Video Files management is a piece of cake now. Thank you! Terry

Doesnt work

This app doesnt work

((((

Crash!!!

Revision of Earlier Report - It works well

This supersedes a previous review I made stating that it did not work. It works, and works well. Instructions are non-existent on the desktop app and that was part of the problem. You need to download both the $5 app for your desktop/laptop and the mobile app for each device (the mobile add here was free.) The mobile app must be open on your mobile device. To transfer files from a computer to a mobile, drag the file over the small icon at the top of your finder screen. It will make the drop down screen descend; continue holding the file over the drop down menu while the app searches for the target device. Once its found the target device, you can release your mouse and a 1MB file will be transferred almost immediately. The default setting is "Photos" and you can move them from there. The mobile app does contain some instructions. If it were not for the clunky interface and unintuitive mechanics, Id give this a "five."

What is the hell !!!

The app is not even opening gets crash everytime

Works Great For Me!

This works well over WiFi. I never used it over bluetooth. I suppose results vary among users. It gave me problems on a previous version with one particular file. It was weird because I transferred several files, one at a time, and when I got to this one file it wouldn’t transfer. But the same file did transfer earlier that day. I was updating files on my Mac and transferring the updated copies to my iPad 2. I ended up using iTunes file sharing for the one file. Nonetheless, I was able to transfer that one file on a day after this incident. At the time with this particular set of files I continued to make changes to, and I would transfer the changed files to my iPad 2. Who knows what that problem was because it worked early in the day, then not at all later in that same day, then worked again on a subsequent day for the same file, using the same version of Instashare. And it continues to work. So five stars because it’s free and it works. Thanks, Lukas Foldyna!

Handy

This is so nice for quick downloads from my phone to laptop.

Crash when opened

iPhone 5 s running iOS 7.1.1 Crashes when you try to open.

Photos out of order is Album and meta data does not appear to transfer

This is an ok program that sometimes finds other devices. - Doesnt transfer photo location and time information between devices (tried between iPhone 5s and iPad) - Transfers photos out of order to the All Photos album, which is annoying when you want to consolidate photos on an iPad then post to facebook. If you transfer 100 photos, the order appears to be random. Good Alternative: "Simple Transfer - Wireless Photo & Video" by Rambax is the best I have found. It does require WiFi connection, but it transfers all pertinent metadata, photo time, and photos appear on the other device in order in the All Photos album.

Meets My Need Well

I often dont have a Wi-Fi connection when I need to move documents from my phone to my computer or iPad, and this does the trick. Its fast, easy, and Ive only had real trouble with it one time out of dozens of transfers. * UPDATE * There have been a few issues lately with stability on certain devices. This is still a good app that helps me a lot, but Im not sure it is the best option anymore. There are other apps the allow you to initiate a send via URL scheme, which is immensely appealing. If you want further testimony, Im @benwhiting on Twitter.

Very nice app

Very very useful

After Initial Test--Great!

Ive transferred 2 mov files from my Mac to my iPhone (2MB and 325MB files) in less than 2 minutes! Very easy to use. Havent tried from Mac to Mac or other machines, but so far, Im impressed. Much easier than AirDrop.

Disappointing

Bought it for my iPhone 6 and iPad 3 and also went to their site and bought Windows version. Did work between idevices after some time figuring it out. But the Windows version kept crashing and asking if I wanted to send them reports of the many crashes.

Flawless

There is nothing about this app I can criticize.

Awesome

Really easy to use, quick and awesome, you can transfer the files you want in a second, thanks for the developers to offer this kind of App.

Works like Airdrop for my old iPad

I have an iPhone 6S and my iPad 3 doesnt have Airdrop so I regularly use this for large video transfers.

Crazy Good!

Read the reviews, took a chance and downloaded for Mac and paid iOS. Ive only been playing for a few minuets, so have not exhausted all possibilities, but this is crazy good! Its just what I need to exchange teaching materials (including multi-media) between my MacBook Pro (never got AirDrop to work) and my iPad 2 (too old for AirDrop) and my iPhone 6. Cant wait to try on older, decommissioned phones that now serve dedicated music tasks. PS Im a university professor who rarely writes reviews, but this product seems to have developed well since its inception. Bravo!

Broken

Bluetooth share has been broken for ages, developers continue to ignore it. Better use SHAREit or Send-Anywhere because at least their Windows apps are free.

Works one way only

It works for sending files from my 6+ to my early 2015 macbook pro, but when trying to send from my macbook to my iphone it never found it, either on my home network or on a personal hotspot. Please fix it!

Always reliable!

Instashare is always ready to go when I need a quick photo transfer! Thanks for a great product!
